The Sun Came Out today.

I woke up to the sun coming through the window. Not something I'm used to anymore.

The typical weather in Western Washington, Aberdeen to be precise, is less than stellar.

We are on the edged of the only rain forest in North America.

With over 80 inches a year, it can be a little gloomy.

Not today. Blue sky and the promise of real warmth for the first time in 7 months.

This is a good way to end the month of March. I do mean end it. The 30th and the 31st. Both sunny and temps in the mid 70's.

This month has seen it all. Two weeks ago it was snowing.

I'm afraid this glimpse, this respite from the cold will be all to short.

The weather forecast for Monday is a return to the gloom, with cooler temps and rain.

I have this to say with all joy in my heart.

For an all too brief moment over this weekend, I did not hurt from the cold.
