Lost And Alone.

Facing life and an uncertain future.

Doubting your every idea.

Confidence on the ropes.

Living day to day, alone in a considerable mind.

Wanting to reach out, but for the first time, hesitant.

Fear not the past, for it can only hurt if you let it.

Like objects in a rear view mirror, as you move forward,

They fade from view.

Let the richness of friends and family,

Rekindle the passion for living.

With every end, a new beginning awaits.

This work hits home for me, maybe a little to close to home. I went to a friends house for his birthday party. He is a little older than I and I have always looked up to him. He is very smart, wise, and sure of him self in every situation I have ever seen him in.  After the party was over he and I sat and talked.

For the first time I saw doubt in his eyes.  It made me realize that at sometime in everyone’s life we all have doubt. I can speak from experience on this.  Living day to day can be very hard. Sometimes you can loose hope. That’s when you need to take stock of your life and try and fined comfort where ever you can. Be it in friends, family or a walk in the woods.
